Anal Fistula & Abscess | Introduction to sensitive diseases (Hard coded)
This is about abscess and anal fistula from my personal experience. For better understanding and improving English the hard coded subtitles have also been added in this video.
Fistula is more than an abscess. The initial form of fistula is an abscess. This abscess is the collection of pus. When an infection occurs at any part of a body, it creates pus and a pocket is formed full of this pus. Ultimately, the pus tries its best to get out of the body. When the pus tries to get out, the skin swells and the mouth of the abscess gets thinner and pointed. At one point the pus gets out. And Here, it makes all the difference. All abscesses cannot vacant all the pus. The quicker the pus is able to get out, the better. When the pus cannot get out easily by 3 weeks, the pus starts spreading, usually behind. This status of the abscess is fistula. And it can be anywhere. When it happens near the anus, it is called anal fistula or fistula in ano.
There are about 19 glands some inches inside from the anal cavity. Suppose, one or more than one gland is infected. Then there will form some pus. And it will make a pocket full of pus. Then the pus may form an abscess with the mouth towards the outer skin. This condition is much better. On the other hand, if the abscess forms a mouth towards the anal cavity, it will be much more unfortunate. As a result, the pus will get out very slowly. While passing stool or during bowel movement, the abscess mouth will hurt. To our dismay, it will be in contact with the stool which is full of bacteria. That is why the pus from the abscess cannot drain properly. Because of these complications, the abscess will not be easily cured or drained. As a result, you will usually suffer from a mild or severe pain usually after bowl movement. It is not all. The pus will start spreading behind or sides. Then it is almost impossible that the abscess will be drained properly or cured at all.
The more you delay, the worse and the bigger the channel will get. Then you must stop dreaming of getting cured or any improvement. Now it’s advisable to have an operation performed by a reliable surgeon. It is such a sensitive place that no anti-biotic can kill the bacteria.
To be continued. My next video will discuss my personal experience in some parts as the discussion will be long and in detail.
